Marketing Final Project // Sample Video

HERE IS A VIDEO EXAMPLE THAT I FILMED AND EDITED THIS PASSED WEEKEND.

Members of the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo) in San Diego held a "Neighborhood Appreciation Day" to show what their organization is about. INC Giving is how they represent their organization when it comes to giving back to the community. Members of the INC continue to hold volunteer work such as saturation drives, neighborhood clean-up, fitness activities, health seminars, chapel tours, and bible studies.

This is an example video that is related to my final project for NGPStudio. Enjoy!

Week 10 EOC: What are the benefits vs the features?

Video advertising is a way to stand out of the competition. With my idea of covering the stories of needy organization in a short amount of time, people will intake the information faster than a article written in a magazine etc. With benefits, consumers will be asking,"What's in it for me?". Consumers want to purchase products that is fitting for them, whether it may be a long lasting product or a product that affects ones life. My business with NGPStudio, my commercial will definitely benefit the organization that I will be presenting. It is my responsibility to help spread the word of awareness to people that will help so that the organization becomes successful. Organizations may have more volunteers, various donations, and also help supplying goods to sustain a families way of living. "Benefit segmentation requires finding the major benefits people look for in the product class, the kinds of people who look for each benefit, and the major brands that deliver each benefit."-Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg275. The features are about the product or service being promoted. The main feature for NGPStudio will be the website following the video that will be featured. Another great feature is the equipment being used to make short videos and commercials for organizations. Having high quality videos comes with good equipment. "A product can be offered with varying features. Features are a competitive tool for differentiating the company’s product from competitors’ products."-Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg215. A great that will be added to the website is to directly make money donations directly from my website that will link to the organization. It just makes it a little easier and a feature that will appeal to people. Another great feature is to accept family pictures through a template given through my website and write "photo cards" to show support to a family or use for any type of crisis.

Week 9 EOC: 3 Great Mission Statements

A great mission statement I read was by "f35Studio". I found her mission statement to be well spoken and explained a lot of what she is doing and how she wants to do it.

A mission statement by "Beauty and the Bully" is another well spoken statement on how to raise the awareness of bullying. With a couple sentences says a lot and how she is capable of doing so.

Lastly, BIGBOIDRE Productions has somewhat of a title rather than a statement which says, "One night for music, one night for shelter". I think the idea of music will definitely bring the people together for a good cause.

Week 9 BOC: Top Hits

Top 5 songs of the Summer: 1. Carly Rae Jepsen ("Call Me Maybe"), 2. Gotye ("Somebody That I Used To Know"), 3. Maroon 5 ("Payphone feat. Wiz Khalifa"), 4. One Direction ("What Makes You Beautiful"), 5. Nicki Minaj ("Starships"). Carly Rae Jepson's "Call Me Maybe" became a #1 single for the summer of 2012.

Why these singles became #1 is through the powerful use of social networking. Carly Rae Jepson was discovered by Justin Bieber. Since Justin Bieber is so popular, he told millions of his fans to follow and support Jepson.

Week 8 EOC: Creative Content

What creative thing are you going to do? How to get the word out? Sample video commercial. "The aim of marketing to create value for customers and to capture value from customers in return."-Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg3. My idea can be very basic and easy to manage. The first thing I would have to do is contact as many programs and organizations as possible to get approved to film. After going about setting a partnership with the organization, I would then ask to feature the video in their website. That way everyone who visits the website will automatically be presented with the opening of the video. It can also be shared with through the spread of social media, starting with the organizations "fan page". "At the corporate level, the company starts the strategic planning process by defining its overall purpose and mission." -Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg39. The more organizations I can get to feature the video on their website, the more people will see it and get some support.

Implementation Evaluation Control

"The analysis, planning, implementation, and control of sales force activities. It includes designing sales force strategy and structure and recruiting, selecting, training, supervising, compensating, and evaluating the firm’s salespeople." -Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg33. In preparing to film organizations, careful marketing strategies is very important and to make sure your business becomes successful. It is important to have the necessary equipment, release forms and right purpose. "The consumer arrives at attitudes toward different brands through some evaluation procedure. How consumers go about evaluating purchase alternatives depends on the individual consumer and the specific buying situation." -Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg154. People will watch the videos and wonder if this will really benefit them and the organization. Building a relationship to the viewers will be a challenge in the 30-60sec. video presented unto them.

Price

"Rather than offering high quality at a high price, or lesser quality at very low prices, marketers in all industries are looking for ways to offer today’s more financially cautious buyers greater value—just the right combination of product quality and good service at a fair price." -Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg79. Talking about good service at a fair price, NGPStudio is offering itself as a volunteer group to certain needy organizations. The plan is to give my clients a USB containing it's video file. Depending on the organization, we can offer a small reasonable payment if asked for DVD copies, etc. Organizations that would like NGPStudio to cover another event or have another promotional video may also be charged a reasonable payment. That way, after promoting it's first video, other organizations will draw attention and come in contact to network. " As a part of a company’s overall value proposition, price plays a key role in creating customer value and building customer relationships."-Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg275. One of my objectives is to make my product valuable so that a source of income will fall in. If organizations appreciate your work, they will invest into your projects.
